About Dyfi Valley Guides

Mountain biking as it should be, guided by the locals who live in the community. Dyfi Valley Guides aim to develop a sustainable riding community, showcasing the very best riding in the area and ensuring the trails are still there for the next generation. We aim to develop the opportunities for the next generation of cyclists in the Dyfi Valley.

The brand was active as Bike Corris LTD/ (which ceased trading in July 2025) founded by DMBinS UK Trail Project Manager David Evans in 2015; the online presence and brand was taken on by Rikki Barratt and has now been rebranded as a new company Dyfi Valley Guides

A keen and experienced mountain biker, Dave had over 30 years global riding experience and built Bike Corris to contribute and progress mountain biking as a whole, especially in the Dyfi area. We continue that with the same local guides but a bigger valley view

A new chapter as Dyfi Valley Guides has begun in the hands of Rikki Barratt to give more back to the wider area.
With a career in Outdoor Education, Guiding and Coaching, Rikki’s passion isnt just developing riders but the community around riding and making cyclists for life through adventure and development.

Legacy

History of Dyfi Valley Guides and the Bike Corris brand

A new era is here with Dyfi Valley Guides, have a look back at how Dave grew the Bike Corris brand

…And Moving On!

Working as UK Trails Project Manager for SRAM at Developing Mountain Biking in Scotland (DMBINS) has given Dave the opportunity and privilege to use his knowledge and experience to help develop policy and systems to make mountain more sustainable for generations to come, throughout the UK.

Dave and the family are moving to Scotland to be closer to his work, and the networks that make Scotland a world leader in the field.

Thank you from Dave to:
